A meeting about flying and the skies, photography and things around. We cordially invite you to an author's meeting with Kacper Kowalski. The meeting will also be the finissage of Kacper's exhibition Credo, which is hosted in the Transverse space. During the exhibition you asked us very interesting questions, now you will be able to ask the author. We strongly invite also those , who have not yet had a chance to see the exhibition. Kacper Kowalski's art books will also be available at the meeting: "Event Horizon" and "Arche". It will be a really nice evening on the transverse.

"I'm more interested in what I feel when I look, rather than what I see and know about the world. I'm looking for an impression that remains in my imagination when I'm no longer looking. This is my ritual. I enter a certain state of meditation - attentiveness maybe. And then I photograph." "I'm constantly searching - for new insights into the place where I live, new phenomena that I've missed for so many years. I'm fascinated by observing why, out of the boundless landscape at my disposal, my attention is drawn to this place and not another. Reflections raise further questions. They will never end."

Kacper Kowalski

Kacper Kowalski (born 1977) has been observing and photographing landscapes from a bird's-eye perspective for more than 25 years. He has received numerous awards, including the World Press Photo award (three times), the Picture of the Year International POYi award (six times) and dozens of others. His work has been exhibited several hundred times in group and solo exhibitions around the world, and his books have won and been nominated for the most prestigious awards, including Les Prix du Livre at the Rencontres d'Arles.
